Christopher Knight wanted a seat on the Rockingham County school board. He wanted to get his message out to as many people as he could. It was time to advertise.
Here's what he came up with.
Sadly, he didn't win. Even more sadly, he didn't think of calling himself Christopher "Jedi" Knight.

Don't think that my friends didn't suggest that! My nickname in college was actually "Chris 'Jedi' Knight", so it came as something of a disappointment to them when I didn't file the paperwork with that.
All things considered, I had a blast with this, my first political campaign. There were 16 people running and I was an absolute unknown before I filed to run. I didn't win, but out of those 16 I came in 8th place. Not too shabby! :-)
